Disney, Day 7

Wednesday morning, we got up, got ready and finished packing.  Bell services came and helped get our luggage to the airline check-in desk at the Contemporary (this is an awesome service by the way...check your bag in at the hotel, they get it to the airport & you don't have to deal with it...they also give you your boarding pass) and we checked our carry-on bags at the desk so we could spend our last few hours in the parks.  We had breakfast at Kona Cafe in the Polynesian and while we were eating, it poured rain...we waited a bit on the rain to let up and headed to the Magic Kingdom.  By the time we got to the Magic Kingdom, it had quit raining.  We headed straight to Big Thunder Mountain to use our fastpasses.  It was MacKenzie's first time to ride it and she wasn't too sure she wanted to but ended up enjoying it.

We had to take another ride on Small World and then headed to use our fastpass on the Tomorrowland Speedway.  I decided to skip the Speedway to do a little shopping.  It had been raining off and on all morning and about the time MiMi, Grumps and MacKenzie got in their race cars, it started pouring.  Grumps gave up & hopped out...MacKenzie and MiMi rode in the rain.  They got soaked but had fun!  Then we had to go over to Adventureland to get one last Pineapple Dole Whip.

We did some last minute shopping on Main Street...including a dry shirt and socks for MacKenzie before heading out.  As we came out of the Emporium, we found Marie with a very, very short line...so we had to go visit MacKenzie's favorite cat.

After that, we headed back to the Contemporary to change into dry clothes and catch the "Tragical" Express to the airport for our flight home.  Once again, we had a great Disney trip and are ready for the next one (in September!).
