Just Some Random Pictures

I feel like I am SO far behind on blogging...since going to Disney World in September, we've been doing a lot of different things - we had visitors from Australia, have been to TN a few times, we went to the beach and Disney on Ice to name a few.  Here are just some random pictures from the past month or so...beach & Disney on Ice posts coming up as soon as I get around to uploading the photos!

Girls Trip - Day 7

Wednesday was our last day in Disney World.  We got up, got our stuff together and took our bags to the airline luggage check area before heading to the Magic Kingdom.  We rode a few rides, including the Tomorrowland Speedway, which is one of MacKenzie's favorites.

We headed back to the Contemporary, where we had lunch at the Wave before catching the Magical Express to the airport.  As always, we had a great trip to Disney and are looking forward to our next trip which is coming up in just a few weeks!

Girls Trip - Day 6

Tuesday morning, MacKenzie, MiMi, Becky & I headed back to the Polynesian for breakfast at Ohana with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey & Pluto.  MacKenzie enjoyed the characters and we all enjoyed the food.  We will definitely be having breakfast at Ohana again!

Then we headed over to the Magic Kingdom for a little while.  On our way into the park, we noticed a short wait time to meet Tinkerbell, so we thought we hopped into that line.  Imagine our surprise when we wound up meeting Talking Mickey!  Of course, we enjoyed the interaction with Mickey and playing "train" with him.

After our surprise meet with Mickey, we got in the correct line to meet Tinkerbell.

We rode a few rides, including Buzz Lightyear before heading back to the room to rest up for our big night.

After resting, we got all dressed up in costumes to head to dinner at to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  This year, we went as Sleeping Beauty and the 3 fairies.  We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and the StepSisters.  We received lots of compliments on our costumes.  Even Lady Tremaine complimented us!!!

After dinner, we headed to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  I LOVE the Halloween party and fall at the Magic Kingdom.

We had reservations for a special event during the party that included a reserved area to watch the parade (my FAVORITE parade at Disney) and a fireworks dessert party.  While we waited for the parade to start, MacKenzie & I got to meet Princess Aurora who called MacKenzie her "Mini-Me".  It was one of the best character interactions we had the entire trip.

While waiting for the parade, MacKenzie & I participated in a little dance party in the middle of Main Street.

Then it was time for the Boo To You parade.  The parade starts with the Headless Horseman riding down the parade route.  It is awesome to see!

After the parade, we headed to Tomorrowland Terrace for Halloween themed desserts and to watch HallowWishes,  After that, we did a little Trick-or-Treating and called it a night.  I apparently didn't take any pictures after the parade...Oops!
