Girls Trip - Day 3

On Saturday, we got up and headed to the Beach Club resort for breakfast at Cape May Cafe.  This was a new to us restaurant and we really enjoyed the food and the character interactions.

Since we were celebrating MacKenzie's birthday, she got a birthday cupcake and button at breakfast.

After breakfast, we headed to Epcot to ride Soarin', Nemo & Friends and a few other rides.  Unfortunately Nemo was not working, so we did not get to ride it.

MacKenzie, MiMi & I went back to the room to rest while Sissy, GiGi & Becky explored Epcot.  We met back up at dinner at Chefs de France in the France pavilion in the Epcot World Showcase.  This was another restaurant we hadn't been to.  

After dinner, we were supposed to take a boat ride to watch Illuminations at Epcot, but it was pouring rain, so we decided to cancel that.  We did take time to enjoy Ice Cream Martinis from the Ice Cream shop in France while we waited for the rain to let up.  

We headed back to our resort and stopped in the Contemporary gift shop to do a little shopping before going to our room.  MacKenzie had fun trying on all the different hats in the gift shop.

Then we went back to the room where MacKenzie modeled her new hat for us before bedtime.
