Catching Up

I'm so behind on blogging...we have been busy getting settled into our new house.  Smokey enjoys it when MacKenzie shares her snacks...

Last week, my brother and sister-in-law welcomed their sweet baby boy Marcus to the world.  I've been enjoying getting as much baby time in as I can.

We also had a play date with Will and his Mom, Ashley.  The came over and brought us some great house-warming gifts and the kids had a great time playing in the new house.  Will also brought MacKenzie some pajamas that he picked out special for her.

Darth MacKenzie

I meant to post this closer to Halloween, but with the move & everything it just didn't happen.  Grumps was Darth Vader for Halloween and when we got out all of his stuff, MacKenzie wanted to wear his Darth Vader mask.  She had a blast playing in it.

Big Girl

MacKenzie and I have been busy moving into our new house, so I haven't been taking many pictures or blogging much lately.  Last night, we had dinner & she wanted to sit at the table like a big girl...where did my baby go???

Playing in the Leaves

A couple of weeks ago, MacKenzie, MiMi and I went to Tennessee for the weekend.  MiMi and I went to the UT - Bama football game on Saturday night while MacKenzie got spoiled by GiGi, Granddaddy and her Nick-Nacky.  Sunday morning, before we went out to eat and to celebrate GiGi's birthday, MacKenzie had a blast playing in the leaves in Granddaddy & GiGi's yard.  She was way too busy playing to pose for any pictures or look at the camera!

Happy Halloween 2014

A little late on this post, but MacKenzie had a fun Halloween this year.  She loved getting to say "Trick or Treat".  Thursday was costume day at her dance class.  It was fun seeing all the little girls dressed up in costumes for class.

After dance class, Grumps carved our pumpkin and did a great job, as usual.  MacKenzie had fun watching him work.

On Friday, I got to dress up for work.  I went as Tinkerbell and had fun with all my work friends in our costumes.

MacKenzie & MiMi brought me lunch and MacKenzie got to trick or treat at my work...and be in a few pictures with everyone all dressed up.  After I got home from work Friday afternoon, we bundled up to do a little trick or treating before MacKenzie's Daddy picked her up for the weekend.  First, we went to visit Papou and Yia-Yia.

Then we crossed the "spooky bridge" to Will's house to trick or treat and take some pictures over there.

Then Will came to our house to trick or treat and play a little bit before MacKenzie had to leave.
