MacKenzie had her 6 month check up yesterday. She weighs 17.4 lbs and is 26 1/2 inches long - that is in the 75th percentile for both. Dr. Patz said she looks great!
We decided that since she is doing such a good job with sitting up that we would try moving her out of the infant tub for bath time. She was getting way too long for the infant tub & really just looked squished and uncomfortable during her bath. My cousin Christie & her family got MacKenzie an awesome blow-up Disney Princess tub that fits in the regular tub, so we got that out last night.
MacKenzie seemed much more comfortable during bath time and did great in the transition to the bigger tub.
Then towards the end of her bath, she figured out that she could splash the water in the tub. She had the BEST time splashing...I almost hated to get her out of the tub.
She would splash with her arms and legs and just laugh and smile.
