Yesterday was MacKenzie's 4 month birthday! With Christmas and everything going on, I am a little behind in blogging. I will get caught up on Christmas in the next few days.
She weighs about 15 lbs and is about 24 inches long.
She continues to be a happy baby most of the time. She has really started to fight sleep, so when she is sleepy & we try to give her a bottle, she fights it & will cry. She is afraid she will miss something. Other than that, she really only cries when she is hungry or wants her diaper changed.
She is eating a lot these days. Most of the time, she takes at least 6 oz. from her bottle and we have started feeding her a little rice cereal at night.
She is wearing sice 3 months or 3 to 6 month clothes and size 1 diapers.
Just recently, MacKenzie has really found her "voice"and squeals and "talks"to everyone, especially when she wants their attention. She also has found her hands and sucks on her fingers a lot. All of her toys make their way to her mouth.
We are on her first big road trip. We are spending a few days with MiMi and Grumps in Panama City for New Years. She rode down with them and did great in the car for that long and so far, she has done well being away from home for this many days.
She has also started sitting up, with assistance either propped up in the corner of the couch or with someone holding her. She likes looking around and seeing everything that is going on.
