Busy Weekend in TN

This past weekend, MacKenzie, MiMi, Grumps & I headed up to Tennessee for a busy weekend.  On Friday, we went to Laura & Joe's 25th Anniversary party.  We got to see lots of friends and family.  We also got to meet my cousin Carmen's husband Luis for the first time.  MacKenzie was really excited to see Reed & Brooks, who are 3 months old.

 

Saturday, we had an early 1 year photo session for MacKenzie with the awesome ladies at Memories Portraits and then family pictures.  It was great to have the whole family there.  I don't have any pictures from MacKenzie's session yet, except the "after" view of her smash cake.  Oh, and one amusing photo of my cousin, Brian...

Then, after pictures, we went out to eat to celebrate my Grandparents 65th Anniversary.  65 years...how amazing is that!  They are such a wonderful example to all of their family and I am so glad we were all able to be there to celebrate.

Sunday, we enjoyed an AWESOME home cooked meal by my grandmother, including one of her wonderful blackberry cobblers and then headed home.  MacKenzie slept almost the entire way home...she was a tired little girl!

It was a great weekend full of family fun!
