Trip to the Mountains

A couple of weekends ago, MacKenzie and I joined MiMi and Grumps for a weekend in the mountains.  Thursday, MiMi and MacKenzie drove up to TN to GiGi and Granddaddy's house.  Then on Friday, they spent the day with GiGi in Knoxville before heading up to the mountains.  MacKenzie had a great time visiting Aunt Marion.

After work Friday, Grumps and I headed up to Gatlinburg to join MiMi, MacKenzie, GiGi & Granddaddy, Sissy & Joe and Nick-Nack for the weekend.  We enjoyed our weekend of relaxing and being entertained by MacKenzie.

Sunday, we enjoyed breakfast at the Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg before GiGi, Granddaddy, Sissy, Joe and Nicholas headed home.  Later that afternoon, I had to head home as well but MacKenzie got to spend a few more days in the mountains with MiMi and Grumps.

They played, did activities at the resort, went to Margaritaville (MacKenzie now knows some of the words to sing Margaritaville) and they went to the indoor water park at the resort.  MacKenzie had a great time playing in the water, going down slides and having MiMi push her around the lazy river. 

When asked how she liked the mountains, MacKenzie said they were "cool" and "awesome".
