14 Months Old

MacKenzie turned 14 months old last week, but with being at the beach, I didn't get around to taking pictures, measuring & weighing her until we got back.

MacKenzie weighs about 23 1/2 lbs and is 32 inches long.  So really no change in the past month for either. 

She started really walking this month.  One day she took a few steps and within a few days, she was walking all over the place.  She is doing really good walking and rarely crawls anymore.  We had to take her to get her first pair of shoes - she is wearing a size 5 to 5 1/2 shoe! 

Everyday, she seems to say more & more actual words.  So far, she says cat, dog, up, moo, duck, ok, Mickey (or Mick for short), Minnie (or Min for short), and ball.  Sometimes she says Mic Mouse for Mickey Mouse. 

She still loves to eat and likes to feed herself.  I haven't found much that she does not like to eat.  Her favorites are waffles, pancakes, pears, fish, French fries, grilled cheese, and peas.  We have cut back to one bottle a day and that is at bed time.  The rest of the time she drinks from a sippy cup. 

Her favorite toys are still anything Mickey and Minnie Mouse.  She also likes Winnie the Pooh, Little People, stuffed animals and books.
