I am really behind on blogging, but we didn't do a whole lot in
January. It was just so cold that we didn't want to go out much.
I'm a couple of days behind in posting this, but my sweet girl turned 17
months old on the 29th of January.
My baby is not so much a baby anymore...she's becoming more &
more of a little girl every day. She is really becoming independent and a
little bit stubborn at times, but is such a sweet girl and most of the time she is a very happy, easygoing little girl.
MacKenzie weighs about 26 lbs and is still about 33 inches tall. She is wearing 18 month clothes, but some of them are starting to get a little small.
She is talking more every day. She will now say
"two" and "three" but won't say one. She will say
"TV" and pick up the remote control when she wants the tv turned on.
MacKenzie says "juice" for something to drink, "cracker",
and "cookie". She knows a lot of animals and their sounds
including sheep, cow, duck, dog, cat and snake. She can also pick out all
of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse characters, Winnie the Pooh characters and some of
the Seven Dwarfs.
MacKenzie loves to wear jewelry - especially bracelets and
necklaces - and her sunglasses. She likes to help in the kitchen by
helping unload the dishwasher and closing the dishwasher, fridge, pantry and
cabinets. She loves to play chase and hide-and-go seek. She also
loves playing on MiMi's Kindle and with Grumps's blackberry. Her favorite
Kindle game is a Fisher Price ABC app.
She has a good imagination and likes to have tea parties with
Mommy and MiMi. She also likes to "feed" her stuffed animals.
She loves seeing the cats and dog and trying to touch them - they usually
just run from her.
MacKenzie loves to "read" books and watch her DVD's that are Mickey Mouse, Disney World and animals. She also likes music and to dance. She loves to give Mommy, MiMi and Grumps kisses and will blow kisses to just about anyone if they are leaving.
