11 Months Old!

Wow...where has the time gone?  MacKenzie turned 11 months old today...hard to believe that in just a month she will be a year old!

MacKenzie weighs 22.5 lbs and is 29 1/2 inches long.  She still wears size 3 diapers and she wears a few 9 month clothes, but is transitioning over to the 12 month stuff. 

 

She loves to eat and to feed herself.  She is eating more and more table food and is quickly losing interest in baby food.  Green beans are one of her favorite foods...she also likes bananas, avocado, turkey, cheerios and pretty much any and everything we let her try.  Last week, I ordered her a grilled cheese sandwich and French fries at a restaurant - she ate the entire sandwich, except the crust and some of the fries!

It seems like MacKenzie is constantly in motion when she is awake these days.  Picasa automatically makes collages & sequences of photos when you upload them and the one below makes me smile because it is a pretty accurate representation of how MacKenzie is always moving around. 

MacKenzie has started pulling up on things.  Most mornings, I find her standing up in her bed...and today, she started pulling up on things and letting go for a few seconds.

She LOVES going to Ms. Pat's for daycare and she LOVES her MiMi.  Some days, she doesn't want anything to do with me...she only wants her MiMi.  She also still likes the dogs and cat...she laughs and squeals at them. 

MacKenzie does a lot of jabbering and she's got a few words she is starting to say (or at least it sounds like she is saying them or something very close).  She says "kitty-cat", "duck", "dog", "MaMa", and "MiMi". 

Its so fun to see her changing and growing everyday...I can't wait to see what the next month has in store for us!
