4th of July Fun

We had a pretty low key but fun 4th of July at home.  For most of the day, we just hung around the house and played.  MacKenzie had fun parading around in her red, white and blue tutu.

After nap time, Matt, Ashley and Will came over to play in the pool.

They stayed for dinner and we were joined by Yia-Yia, Papou and Nicholas.  The kids had fun playing and seeing the sparklers.  Neither MacKenzie or Will were very big fans of bottle rockets and the louder fireworks.

Beach, Part 2

I didn't want to overload the last post with pictures, so I decided to do two separate beach posts.
MacKenzie and the Bowin boys had matching shirts to wear two different days.  It is not an easy job to get a good picture of 6 kids!!!

 

 They also had shirts to match MarkMark / MiMi.  

And what beach trip is complete without a photo shoot on the beach???

Beach, Part 1

I'm a little behind in posting this, but the last couple of weeks have been a bit crazy.  June 15th, we headed to Gulf Shores with my extended family. Unfortunately, Grumps got sick and spent the entire week in the hospital.  Fortunately, after another week of being sick at home, he is doing much better.
There were 23 people, ages 1 to 92, staying in our beach house. Somehow, I missed getting pictures of a lot of people.  MacKenzie enjoyed playing in the pool and playing with Sissy, Nick-Nack, and Court-Court.

MacKenzie also enjoyed playing with the Bowin boys, especially the "babies" Reed & Brooks.

We enjoyed a little time on the beach, but MacKenzie preferred the pool to being on the beach.
