Trying to Sit Up

MacKenzie is trying her best to sit up without any help or support.  She's really close, but is still wobbly...she will sit for a few seconds without any support.  The other morning, I had her in the bouncy seat while I was getting ready for work...I looked over & she was sitting up in the bouncy, so I grabbed my cell phone to take a couple of pictures (I figured if I went to get the good camera, she wouldn't be sitting up anymore).  I think before long she will be sitting up all the time without any help.

Celebrating Valentine's Day

Last night, we celebrated Valentine's Day with MiMi & Grumps and Mitch & Ms. Virginia at Cantina Laredo.  I got flowers & chocolate covered strawberries from my hubby, a carmel & chocolate apple from my Daddy and flowers from my Grandaddy...so I would say I was pretty spoiled this Valentine's Day.  MacKenzie also got flowers from Grandaddy (her Great Grandaddy).  We enjoyed our Valentine's Day & MacKenzie's first Valentine's Day!

Spending the Night at MiMi & Grumps's

MacKenzie spent the night at MiMi & Grumps's house for the first time last night.  Parker was playing poker at their house, so we went over for dinner & then I put MacKenzie to bed in her room at their house.  Today is her day to stay with MiMi.  It was the first time she has spent the night away from us. MiMi said that she slept all night and did great this morning.
We've also been getting ready for Valentine's Day.  MacKenzie has several cute Valentine's outfits, so I've been trying to dress her in them this week.

Aunt Sissy got this bib for MacKenzie...she looked so cute in it last night and kept looking at it like she was reading it, so I had to take a few pictures.  Thanks Aunt Sissy!  We miss you!

Wordless Wednesday

So Sweet

We've all been a little under the weather the last week or so, so blogging has been put on the back-burner.  MacKenzie has finally recovered from her cold, Parker went to the doctor yesterday & I just have some sinus crud going on....hopefully we will all be healthy soon.
This afternoon, when we got home, I put MacKenzie in the swing for a minute to I could let the dogs out, change clothes & all that good stuff.  Well, when I looked over at her, she had gone to sleep & this is how she was sleeping.  It was so sweet that I just had to snap a picture!
